Ellis Wharton Wines
Wine Merchant Ellis Wharton Wines came to us for a full solution ecommerce website with stock control, catering to both their wholesale customers and a new expansion into the retail sector.
We designed a new logo for the company, and custom made this bespoke website to exactly fit the company's needs. Customers can save wine lists for easy re-ordering, and a novel menu system makes it really easy to find the perfect wines by grape variety, origin, producer, price and of course type.
The system also includes a powerful promotions system allowing BOGOF (buy one get one free), percentage discounts, set value discounts - targeted at individual users, or groups, and applying to individual wines or all wines from any specific origin or type. The billing system for their credit customers reduces their administrative burden while improving their customer service.
Taylor Training Services
Taylor Training Services provides working at height safety training and harnesses. They needed a website they could easily update themselves with a powerful CMS system, but for a modest budget.
We produced a striking design which was influenced by safety signage colour and style, and sourced the beautiful main photo from an individual via the popular photo sharing website Flickr.
HomeOffice
This UK Government department is leading the way in ensuring that all of their content is accessible to everyone, including disabled users, in line with the Disibility Discrimination Act. One way they do this is to provide Closed Captions and Transcripts to news videos on their intranet which reaches over 30,000 of their staff around the world.
MicroAngelo was tasked with redesigning their Flash-based video distribution system, and we designed and implemented a new system using W3C approved international standard formats, both SMIL and TT AF, whilst moving videos to FLV as popularised by Google Video and YouTube.
To compliment this MicroAngelo developed a bespoke Caption Generator web app (pictured above) to speed up the captioning process and allow the video production team to caption the Flash videos themselves, thus saving them thousands of pounds every year.
As well as supporting the new accessible formats, we developed the new Flash Video Player with Captions to be easily rebranded, allowing quick and easy re-use across the various Government departments.

Kittows Bros.
MicroAngelo worked with fifth generation Cornish butchers Kittows Bros. from business concept, through photography, design, creation, refinement and launch. The website utilises the mouth-watering photographs that we took at a photoshoot we arranged at the beautiful Pencalenick House on the river Fowey to the full, including the use of a special technique allowing the user to see a larger, high quality version of the photo when they click on it, and showing different photos everytime a page loads.
The site allows customers to sign up for the newly launched Kittows Bros. fortnightly meat box, deli box and pasty box schemes, which are available nationwide, and come in 3 sizes to suit all households.
Skoosh
MicroAngelo produced a set of three themes for Skoosh's Flash banner campaign, with the aim to explain what Skoosh do in a fun, memorable way, combined with a strong “Call to Action” that would deliver qualified potential clients straight onto the Skoosh website.
National Coal Mining Museum
The National Coal Mining Museum for England needed a short animation to say thank you to people leaving donations for furnace shaft repairs. We produced a beautiful little cartoon showing how every brick helped build the whole. The project was completed in a very timely manner, and represented excellent value for money.
Skinner's Brewery
MicroAngelo made Skinner's Brewery a fully featured ecommerce website with integrated Payment Gateway, and a powerful yet easy to use Content Management System. The site features beautiful Flash animations of all the Skinner's characters, and is programmed to be both accessible and Search Engine Optimised (SEO) - a Google search for Cornish Ales brings it up as number 1!
Swansea Council Road Safety Team
The Swansea Council Road Safety Team described this animation as "amazing". MicroAngelo produced this three minute bilingual Flash animation explaining the work of the team, and how they work in partnership with the Police and local residents to encourage road safety.
JasunFiltration
A Flash based corporate presentation showing the benefits of a new type of air filter, how it works and how it saves you money. With an expressive virtual salesman talking and showing the benefits, we produced a high quality sales tool with a low file size, to allow it's use on the internet.
A Flash based, interactive application to calculate the savings that using different filters can provide. A nice sales tool originally for show use, adapted for online presentations, with the ability to print the results in an attractive, branded, customised page, as shown below.
FocalResearch
Focal Research specialise in providing information to the construction industry. We built a website that allowed them to manage and distribute large databases of information to their clients simply and instantly, providing a clean interface, with complete control and security.
FoweyFringe
We were honoured to be asked once again to create the official Fowey Fringe Festival website for the 2008 folk music extravaganza. After the success of the cardboard themed site of 2007, we implemented a pinboard version to align with the last-minute style of the festival.
MicroAngelo provided web development and hosting to the first ever Fowey Fringe Festival, during May 2007. The huge success and popularity of the festival is partly attributable to the beautifully stylised design, which received several mentions in the regional press.

Thomson Financial
Thomson Financial is a leading source of information in the financial sector. A large database of reports and articles had to be maintained and constantly expanded. A subscribtion system was implemented to restrict access to the site, and an admin area allows the client to select which articles are to be made available online, drawing from a database containing every article ever published in the three magazines: Private Equity Week, Venture Capital Journal and Buyouts Newsletter.
The solution was 3 different websites all generated from the same database of articles, controlled by a single CMS (Content Management System).

A business to business site focusing on quickly and easily providing product data from a database of over 90,000 items.
Larry Pressler
The personal site of retired US Senator Larry Pressler, detailing his life of service and his current activities.
